Why am I so enthusiastic about #CosplayToken and #TeamCT

I'm a cosplayer, and I love so much what I do, that some years ago I left my regular job in IT and struggled for at least 3 years until I was able to make a living out of cosplay!

You know what they say, if you love something, you are going to make it good... and when you are good at something, there is a way to profit with it.

But it wasn't easy, at all. Most of all, because I live in Argentina, a country that has really unstable economy, banks steal the savings from the people every certain amount of years, inflation is outstanding and for several years we could not even buy dollars... or receive packages from abroad.


Do you understand why I say that I had to struggle? There are no wigs factories for cosplay in Argentina, and most of my fans are from other countries... they wanted to give me support, even brands offered me a lot of products in exchange for promotion that I was not able to receive (sad picture indeed). To be able to get my payments, I was forced to travel to Uruguay 1 time every 2 months. Spending in tickets, hotels... working days.

With the last change of government things started to be more quiet, but yesterday the dollar climbed its price by 20%, in one day! Can you imagine?

We must not forget that cosplay is full of kids, youngsters that are some times naive as well, it is not only a thing of ladies getting unwanted proposals!

It is also hard to be sure in who to trust, for example, when you are about to make a photoshoot with a new photographer! Also from the point of view of the photographer, who normally suffer from cosplayers that are not completely responsible , it could save a lot of time and problems if you can check someone reputation before making plans! 

SOLUTION:

With blockchain, players now get to identify each user and correspond with them accordingly to help curb harassment. Players will also be able to evaluate each other, ensuring fair evaluations. Player activities will be recorded on blockchain which is secure and tamper-proof.

Cosplayers hard work not always is recognized. We spend countless hours. even if it's a hobby, we invest time and money, and we even go to events and take pictures with people who enjoys seeing our costumes, we collaborate with photography students or amateurs, we promote characters (this is not a minor thing) and products from the entertainment industry. Sometimes we are even blamed of spending "too much time" and wasting (our own) resources... when what we do is being creative and invest time in a healthy occupation. Yes, it can start as a hobby, but it can me much more than that!

Why if a brand pays to movies, personalities or even influencers to promote their products, cosplayers are ignored most of times?

We even teach eachother out techniques and we teach people who is just starting... we share all the time! Amazing cosmakers make great work and they could even be ignored if they don't do something that is sexy or very attractive to certain audiences... and without someone to help them stand out, is nearly impossible...

What is the advantage of Cryptocurrency for cosplayers?
